5.18.10 – It will all be okay
If only I could turn off the voice inside my head and listen to this one instead.

I'm in a funk and need to get out. I have no problem watching a movie a day, but find it more and more difficult to get my video projects done. Work or scheduling issues seem to keep getting in the way. An artist I know set out on a project to make a drawing a day as a way to deal with these problems. I've decided to use a Flip camera and iMovie to make one short video sketch a day. Some narrative, some not, hopefully some interesting. We'll see what happens when there are no excuses.

ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS!
On Doing Something--anything at all (heck, it's optional!)--and on winning the Perseverance Award.
Not Giving Up is key.
I am inspired by how you truly do keep making these movies every day, for instance, as promised. (And even more so because I've made a few myself and know they take real effort.)

Thanks, Fresca.
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed I haven't given up either, as it does take a fair amount of time, even for a 30 second movie.
I'm grateful to have followers like you who make it hard for me to throw in the towel. 253 movies done, so if my math is correct (hard to say these days), 70% through the year.
p.s. I argued in graduate school with my Economics professor stating I would never use that information again and I was right!
