I'm in a funk and need to get out. I have no problem watching a movie a day, but find it more and more difficult to get my video projects done. Work or scheduling issues seem to keep getting in the way. An artist I know set out on a project to make a drawing a day as a way to deal with these problems. I've decided to use a Flip camera and iMovie to make one short video sketch a day. Some narrative, some not, hopefully some interesting. We'll see what happens when there are no excuses.
I hope you are over your illness.
ReplyDeleteBeing sick in the heat is a special kind of misery, I'd say. Once I had a high fever and infection in the dead of summer---thought I'd just melt away and die.
I have a good feeling about August--a swelling sense of abundance and bounty (godwilling!). Big fat harvest weather, with nights starting to cool off, mercifully.
Thanks, Fresca, for your concern. I think it's almost over. Of course the heat alert and smog alert are back in effect, which may not help.
ReplyDeleteIt does suck to be sick when it's hot. I end up cranking up the air in order to stay in bed under the covers.
I'm hoping August is abundant for all of us. We all deserve it.
